László Fülöp

Gentle bartender, introverted shop assistant, dancer, performer, choreographer and founder of Timothy and the Things was born in Budapest. After studying at the Budapest Academy of Contemporary Dance, he works as a freelancer and cooperates with many dance associations not only from Hungary. In addition, he creates original choreographic works under his own brand Timothy and the Things. The core of his interest is the investigation of all possible forms of human behavior and communication from a variety of angles, without generalizations and prejudices through a highly personal lens. The key ambition of his work is to confront the audience with the internal processes that influence and determine human decisions and actions at the subconscious level.

Vince Varga

Vince Varga (1981) is a multidisciplinary artist. His works are born from a cluster of audiovisual storytelling, composing, theater, light art and live performances. After spending several years as an active artist in the Lisbon music scene and over a year in Kuala Lumpur, he is currently based in Budapest. He worked several times in the theater on performances directed by Gábor Zsámbéki, Kriszta Székelyová or Viktor Bodó. He performed in Deutsches SchauSpielHaus Hamburg, Volkstheater Wien, Schauspiel Stuttgart, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Palace of Arts, Katona József Theater and Trafó Budapest.

Zebastián Méndez Marín

Zebastián Méndez Marín comes from Costa Rica. He attended Conservatorio El Barco (Costa Rica), among his important projects are EU.GENUS (Med and dust) and What the body does not remember (Ultima Vez). In October 2021, the Studio Dance Theater premiered the project PUNK PAJAMA PARTY, which was created by a team of artists led by Zebastián and Lívia Balážová MM. He has been working with the Studio Dance Theater since 2017. From April 2022, he is its new artistic director.

Ján Čief

He comes from Banská Bystrica. He graduated from an electrical engineering school. He lives and works in Banská Bystrica as a lighting designer. From 1996 to 2000, he worked as a lighting engineer at the Banskobystrica State Opera. He has been cooperating with the Studio Dance Theater since 1999 until today. Since then, he has created the lighting design for many of their productions, with which he has participated in domestic and international festivals of contemporary dance. He also cooperates with other institutions from the Banská Bystrica theater scene, such as Divadlo z Pasáže, Záhrada – center of independent culture, Academy of Arts – Faculty of Dramatic Arts, etc.

Ivana Macková

She completed her doctoral studies in scenography at the KBT VŠMU in Bratislava, where she currently teaches. During her studies, she completed an internship at KALD DAMU in Prague and also in the studios of the National Theater in Prague. Since 2013, she has been continuously working as a scenographer in various theaters and independent groups. She collaborated with the Bratislava Puppet Theatre, the Rázcestí Puppet Theatre, the Jozef Gregor Tajovský Theater in Zvolen, the Puppet Theater in Pásáž, the Žilina Puppet Theater and also with the independent groups Odivo and PIKI Theatre. She was part of the creation of the Kosmopol immersive theater project in Banská Štiavnica. Her foreign collaborations include the creation of scenography for the Polish theater Teatr Lalki and an actor in Opole.
